New, and excellent rec, from frivolity has been added to The Matrix page. “A Battle For Peace” is an instrumental vid with more depth than nearly any lyrical vid out there. Lewis has crafted this tribute so flawlessly that you can feel the movement throughout. This is a must-see vid and once again, thanks to the vidder, Lewis, and the contributor, frivolity!

Notes: Shazzer always makes gorgeous music videos but for me, ‘Mary’ particularly struck a chord. It shows the heartache on General Hospital over the years and with so much to choose from, Shazzer has shown the best scenes to illustrate the lyrics. The effect is stunning and very, very moving.

Notes: I’ve rewatched ‘Ding Dong’ a stupid number of times since I first watched it and I’m no where else to sick of it. An obsecure song which by rights shouldn’t fit Carly at all but it totally does! It’s a fabulous video and one of my all time favorites.

Notes: Despite the number of years Elizabeth has been on GH, it’s still quite rare to find a truely great video for her but this one more than fits the bill. Ames shows that despite the conception of her character now, Liz has proved time and again that she’s not to be messed with and I love it.

Notes: This is a Doctor Who vid that plays like a vid from an epic romance movie. The imagery is rich and detailed and the song is hauntingly beautiful. The scene with Rose is almost heartbreaking and I’m just absolutely floored by the magnificence of this vid. Clara has brought out all the emotion of the series and added to it with amazing results. I just really can’t say enough about this one!

I’ve been a fan of Doctor Who for a bit now and I’ve seen a few great vids, but Clara’s vid, “Sophia” is by far the most ambitious I’ve seen. It’s not the usual action vid, or the “Watch The Doctor run around and look silly” vid (which I’m so inclined to vid), it’s a rich episodic vid that is lovely in a standalone sense. You don’t even have to know who the characters are to appreciate this vid, you just have to have a heart. Check it out on the all-new Doctor Who page. Thanks, Clara!
