Vid Title: Brother, Let Go

Author: Di

Site: Perfect Harmony

Notes: This vid has been in my favorites for awhile now. All the love and struggle of the brothers is brought to the most beautifully edited ending I’ve ever seen. The song choice is genius and Di has captured the innocent spirit of the film in a way that highlights love and redemption perfectly.

Weekly Wrap-Up

Announcements.

The gigantically talented Mr. Anderson’s Doctor Who vid, “Back to the Start” was submitted by the equally gigantically talented Charmax. It took me awhile to be able to do an introduction to this vid because in many ways, it’s exactly how I see the show in my dreams. The vid lovingly portrays The Ninth Doctor, Rose, and The Tenth Doctor in full circle. It’s no secret that I harbor great love for Nine, and this vid plays out like a dreamy wish of mine. Stunning!

Gater, of the unbelievably huge site Kawoosh! submitted “The Ancients” by PG15. This Stargate vid manages to integrate scenes from SG-1 and SGA highlighting everything we know about The Ancients. The vid is set to a moving instrumental/choir piece, making this a moving and powerful look at the race. The scene of The Ancients leaving Atlantis is one of my favorite vid scenes ever.

I added another fandom which I shortened to “Narnia” because “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” wouldn’t fit in the sidebar ;) Additionally, I hope to receive recs from the subsequent movies. Narnia was added to highlight Di’s vid, “Brother, Let Go”. I’ve been meaning to rec this one long before now, and could have sworn I had already done so. Oops! If you haven’t already seen it, be sure to check it out. The vid is energetic and emotional, and chances are, you’ll be crying at the end. It’s just a really great production!

Thanks again to the contributors, Charmax and Gater, and to the excellent vidders, Mr. Anderson, PG15, and Di!
