Protege Moi

Supernatural.

Vid Title: Protege Moi

Author: Charmax

Site: Bronze Ambition

Notes: Another beautiful Supernatural vid, perfected by the black/white/red colours that gives the whole vid an air of darkness and mystery…

Notes: An extra comment to add to Charmax’s Protege Moi supernatural vid. This video gets me like a punch to the gut. It’s dark, gritty and beautiful. It uses colour filters, which usually make me run a mile but the way they are used is smart and just right. The footage has been turned black and white with some important objects standing out red eg blood, car lights etc. It’s on my essential vids list. It should come with a Wincest warning. But then don’t most Supernatural vids?

Recs and Apologies

Added on January 4th, 2007.
Announcements.

I’d like to apologize to Cam and Clarice for not updating sooner.  I’ve been dealing with a sick kitten and neglecting my duties here.  I am so very sorry for this out of character lapse in updating.

I’d like to extend the apology to the wonderful vidders, Lady Manson, Fabella, and Charmax whose vids were recommended in the last couple of weeks.

Clarice sent in Lady Manson’s vid, “Walk”, an angsty and hardrocking Buffy/Faith vid.  It’s actually very stylized and has a great grip on the characters.

Cam sent in two Supernatural vids.  Fabella’s “Ghost Boy” and Charmax’s “Protege Moi”.  I haven’t had a chance to watch these yet, but knowing that they were made by two extremely talented vidders makes my job easier.  Normally, I watch each vid to be certain it meets the expectations of the site, but I can add these recs unseen (for now, I *will* watch them, how could I not?!?) and know they are terrific.

Thanks again to the contributors and vidders, and Happy New Year, everyone! :bubbly:
